Chord Sheet is an offline chord-sheet app. This policy explains, in full, what happens to your data.
Chord Sheet does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data, usage data, or analytics. The app does not use the internet at all — there is no server, no account, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs.
The songs you create (titles, artists, lyrics, chords, tags) are stored only in the app's local storage on your own device. Your preferences (appearance, accent color, language, sort order) are also stored locally using Apple's standard UserDefaults mechanism, for the app's own use only. None of this data ever leaves your device unless you explicitly export a backup file yourself and choose where to save or share it.
The app lets you export your library to a file and import it back later. This is entirely under your control — Chord Sheet does not upload backups anywhere on its own.
Chord Sheet contains no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party services of any kind.
Chord Sheet does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all.
If this policy ever changes, the update will be posted on this page.
